Position Summary:
The Help Desk Support Specialist is responsible for:
– Delivering responsive and professional IT support to end-users.
– Diagnosing and resolving computer, application, and system issues efficiently.
– Promoting user understanding by sharing knowledge and providing helpful documentation.
– Collaborating with IT teams to maintain seamless operations and escalate issues as needed.
Essential Functions:
– Respond promptly to technical assistance requests via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
– Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to computers, applications, devices, access, or performance.
– Document, track, and resolve reported problems in line with service levels and operational standards.
– Advise users on methods to prevent future issues, providing clear instructions and support materials.
– Escalate complex problems to appropriate teams to ensure resolution.
– Assist with software or device installations, upgrades, user profile setup, and password resets.
– Contribute to IT functions, including desktops, networks, and servers.
Preferred Experience:
– Administration of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID.
– Familiarity with Tritech and Central Square platforms.
Qualifications:
– 2-5 years of relevant IT support experience.
– Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to meet and exceed user expectations.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
– Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
– Use of standard office equipment, including laptops, phones, and copiers.
– Ability to travel to different sites in the Denver area.
– Typical office environment with occasional exposure to industrial settings.
