Job Description

Join our team as a Helpdesk Support Specialist, where you’ll provide essential support to consulting and technical teams throughout the software development life cycle. In this role, you’ll assist with production and maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality, on-time customer service. Your contributions to knowledge management and collaboration with internal teams will help drive efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate on designing and detailing processes related to the software development life cycle.
– Troubleshoot issues, document processes, review checklists, and develop reference implementations.
– Provide infrastructure and application development support.
– Monitor and maintain production systems, including applications, batch jobs, servers, network devices, databases, and operating systems.
– Acknowledge and resolve tickets for Level 1 issues, classify similar incidents, and provide data analysis.
– Support deployments and ensure a smooth go-live for new processes, products, or systems.
– Document existing systems and processes for knowledge sharing and maintenance.
– Participate in scheduled software releases, upgrades, and rollouts.
– Prepare and submit daily status reports, updating project trackers as needed.
– Engage in specialized tasks such as application development, infrastructure support, cybersecurity, and service management depending on project requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
– Associate’s degree or high school diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
– Proficiency in basic computer skills and attention to detail.
– Strong problem-solving abilities.
– Authorization to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
– Located within commuting distance or willing to relocate, with potential travel required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Google IT Support Certificate or equivalent credentials.
– Experience with programming languages, network infrastructure, and related skills.
– Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel for creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
– Ability to analyze data and communicate ideas clearly.

Work Environment:
– Work involves extended periods at a computer and the ability to communicate via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
– Travel may be required based on job responsibilities.
