Job Description
We are looking for a skilled On-Site Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional IT infrastructure support. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues, ensuring high-quality service while adhering to customer security compliance and hardware warranty requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver on-site IT support with a professional level of written and spoken English and local language proficiency.
– Provide 2-3 years of field support experience, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems without breaching compliance standards.
– Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, printers, and computer peripherals.
– Follow installation instructions and troubleshoot desktop applications effectively.
– Provide basic support for enterprise LAN/WAN setups and execute smart hands support under instruction for network hardware.
– Offer desk-side support and PC break/fix services, including basic administration of Windows OS and potentially Mac OS, depending on the location.
– Support peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, printers, routers, and switches, as part of smart hands activities (excluding tasks involving scaling heights or climbing ladders).
– Communicate effectively with clients, regional leads, and management, maintaining strong written and oral communication skills.
– Adhere to workplace health and safety policies and access control standards.
– Coordinate with central and regional teams for dispatch and scheduled site support, escalating issues when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related field.
– CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent.
– Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN concepts and smart hand support for peripherals and networking hardware.
– Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.
